In this day and age of changing technology, we find that our patients are very interested in what is happening in the hearing health arena. We like to keep our patients informed and updated when new products are introduced. It is also very important to us that they are pleased with our service and the hearing aids they select.

In order to pass on very interesting and important information, we send out "SoundBytes" on a monthly basis. We post them on our website as well, so they can be read at any time.

Time to Get Educated!

Do you wonder if a hearing aid would be right for you? Or perhaps you already use a hearing aid, but would like to take advantage of the advances in technology over the past few years?

If so, you could benefit from one of our complimentary educational seminars on hearing loss and hearing instruments that we are offering throughout the month of October. Our seminars run from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm and include lunch. A presentation lasting approximately 1 hour, with a question-and-answer session, will discuss how to identify a hearing loss, treatment options available if you have a hearing loss, and what you can do to get the most from your hearing.

Our seminars are targeted for two different groups of individuals. The first is for people considering hearing aids for the first time. And, second, for people who already have hearing aids, but want to know what's new in hearing aid technology. The hearing instruments that are coming out now are quite different from the ones that were around even three years ago.

For example, some of our patients have avoided hearing aids in the past because of the way they look. Now, we can offer aids that are 100% invisible! We know that much younger people have hearing loss than ever before and we are starting to see patients in their 30s, 40s and 50s. They want something that's cosmetically appealing. Hearing aid manufacturers have been able to miniaturize much of the technology, so more interesting and small hearing aids that work really well are now available at a very reasonable cost. Patients can finally hear in a multitude of noisy environments.

Our seminars are open to anyone who feels they have a hearing loss and we encourage them to bring a family member as well. Remember, when someone in the family has a hearing loss, the entire family has a hearing problem!

Please call one of our convenient office locations to reserve a spot at one of our upcoming seminars.
